Lead Aesthetician
Margaret received her Master Aesthetician license from the leading aesthetic school in the DC Metropolitan area. Margaret has extensive experience in both the spa + medical setting, as she previously worked as a lead aesthetician for a well-known skincare brand as well as a large Plastic Surgery practice. She provides custom facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and specializes in extractions that don’t cause pain or redness.
The science and continuing growth in the skincare industry has always inspired her to help treat different types of skincare concerns, while having strong attention to detail and genuine compassion for her clients. After noticing a disconnect between the medical and spa settings, she felt inspired to blend the two worlds together. Margaret’s goal is to achieve results all while pampering her clients: a truly unique experience only found at Defy Aesthetic!
In her free time, Margaret loves thrifting and antiquing, all-things interior design, and visiting local breweries. She’s also obsessed with her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and her husband!
One skincare product she cannot live without? Mineral-based sunscreen. She will continue to preach this to anyone that walks her way.
